Exploring the Association between Increased Online Video Gaming and Mental Health Wellbeing Among Young Adults in Lebanon: A Cross-sectional Study

 

If you are a male aged 18 to 26, have been residing in Lebanon for the past year, and own a gaming console (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC) with access to the necessary equipment (internet, console, and screen) for playing online video games at home:

You are invited to participate in a research study entitled: Exploring the Association between Increased Online Video Gaming and Mental Health Wellbeing Among Young Adults in Lebanon: A Cross-sectional Study.

The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between online gaming behavior and mental well-being among young adults, examining the mediating roles of sleep patterns and physical activity levels, while identifying potential differences based on game genres.

You will be kindly asked to complete a short survey/questionnaire with sociodemographic information, gaming habits and preferences, mental health well-being, sleep quality, and physical activity. The survey will include questions about the impact of the war in the country.

The estimated time to complete the survey is approximately 20 minutes.

The survey is conducted online and is hosted on the AUB server.
