Assessing the User-experience and Usability of the Health Information System (HIS) by Healthcare Staff at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC)

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how healthcare staff at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) interact with and experience the Hospital Information System (HIS) services. This includes examining various aspects such as usability, display, reliability, and connectivity. Additionally, the study will look into the operational impact, usefulness, and interruptions encountered while using the system. It will also assess how the HIS influences collaboration and communication among staff, its impact on patient care, and the proficiency of training users. Further areas of focus include the support provided by IT, the hardware used, security measures, staff attitudes towards the system, and overall satisfaction.
