Assessing the knowledge and attitude of the Lebanese population towards organ donation

 

You are invited to participate in a research study entitled “Assessing the knowledge and attitude of the Lebanese population towards organ donation” conducted by Dr. Maher Abdessater, Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut.

The conduct of this study will adhere to the IRB-approved protocol: SBS-2025-0352

The IRB-approved method for approaching subjects is online via social media. The purpose of the study is to assess knowledge and attitude towards organ donation and its correlates such as participant age, gender, religiosity, and education level, while also looking at the participants willingness to register as organ donors.

I am inviting you to participate in a research study about “Assessing the knowledge and attitude of the Lebanese population towards organ donation”

You will be kindly asked to complete a short survey/questionnaire with demographic information and questions relating to knowledge and attitude towards organ donation in general and in Lebanon.

you are eligible to participate in this study if you are aged over 18, currently reside in Lebanon and hold a Lebanese nationality 

The estimated time to complete the survey is approximately 10 minutes.

 

The survey is conducted online and is hosted on the AUB server.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.
